Competition Application: 15th November to 28th February 2022 (Preliminary Round). Application has now closed.
Due to the high spike in current reported Covid numbers in Singapore, it is inappropriate to proceed with the planned Beethoven Prize Winners' Concert in April 2022. In its place, the organizers have arranged with sponsors to offer all finalists based in Singapore, a special invitation for a LIVE recording session of the Final Round.
Submission of all Final Round videos have to be received by 20th March 2022, 5pm Singapore time.
The Final Round will be LIVE streamed with LIVE judging. The date will be announced together with results of the preliminary round on 7th March 2022.
Festival online masterclasses will be held and arranged with participants nearer the dates.
The organisers hope to invite prize winners of this competition to perform in subsequent planned concerts scheduled later in 2022-2023 when the Covid situation improves and restrictions at concert venues are expected to be lifted.
