All Participants will be marked out of a total score of 100 points.
 
Medals, Trophies and Certificates will be awarded to winners of the following categories:
Trophy for Gold : 91-100 points, Silver: 86-90 points, Bronze 81-85 points.  Medal of Commendation 76-80 points

Prize monies, Awards and Diploma Certificates will be given to winners of the following categories:
Only winners scoring above 91 points will be eligible for prize monies.  
Distinction award: 91-100 points, Excellence Award: 86-90 points, Merit Award: 81-85 points, Commendation Award 76-80 points
  • Advanced Category (1st prize $300, 2nd prize S$200, 3rd prize S$100)
  • Senior Category (1st prize $500, 2nd prize S$300, 3rd prize S$200)
  • Artist Category (1st prize $800, 2nd prize $500, 3rd prize $300)
  • Professional (1st prize S$1000, 2nd prize S$800, 3rd prize S$500)

Special Prizes 
  • Best Mazurka S$100
  • Best Nocturne S$100
  • Best Polonaise S$100
 
1. The decision to award or not to award the main prizes, distinctions and special prizes will be made by the Competition Jury.
2. The Jury will have the right to change the classification of the prizes, vary the total amount of prize money, or share the prizes amongst deserving winners.
3. The Jury will have the right to decide not to award individual prizes or special prizes if standards of international expectations are not met. 
4. All decisions made by the Jury will be final and not subject to appeal.
5. The competition results will be announced and will be posted on the website. 
6. All winners will be invited to perform in concerts at the discretion and plans of the organizers.
7. The organisers deserve the rights to record, broadcast and publicise the performances of all competitors.
