Prizes and Awards: Top Prize Winners of the following categories each category will receive monetary prizes, a special trophy, special mention certificate. Top prize winners must score 91 -100 points to be awarded prize monies. Winners will be invited to perform at the Gala Winners’ Concert in September 2023 inSingapore.
Solo Professional Artist Category (3 Top Prizes): 1st Prize $1000, 2nd prize: $800, 3rd prize: $500
Professional Piano Duo Category: Top Prize $800
Piano Chamber Category: Top Prize $800
Licentiate Diploma Category: Top Prize $800
Associate Diploma Category: Top Prize $500
Solo Young Artist III: Top Prize $500
Solo Rising Star III: Top Prize $300
All cash prizes are in Singapore Dollars. These cash prizes are indicative and subject to the quality and standards of the participants. The organisers and jury have the right to withdraw prizes if the expected standards are not met or if there are insufficient participants. Prize monies will be brought forth to the next competition if there are no deserving winners.
All participants will receive transcripts of the jury. Awards (trophies or medals) and certificates are based on a marking system of 100 points for attaining the achievements listed below. The organizers have the right to combine categories where there are insufficient participants.
Certificates will be awarded to: Certificates of Merit: 75 – 79 points Certificates of Participation: all other participants
Other Special Prizes ‘Bach’ Prize, for the best rendition of a piece by Bach: $100 'Mozart' Prize, for the best rendition of a piece by Mozart: $100 'Chopin' Prize, for the best rendition of a piece by Chopin: $100 ‘Debussy’ Prize, for the best rendition of a piece by Debussy: $100 '20th Century Prize', for the best rendition of a piece composed by Rachmaninoff, Prokofiev, Kapustin, Bartok or post 1900: $100
Publicity Winners will be featured and published on our website and on our Facebook page. Transcript of Jury’s Comments We wish to provide the best learning opportunities for all participants. The jury’s comments and suggestions will be sent to all participants after the event.
Application Dates, Results and Festival Schedule:
Competition Application: 15 April 2022 to 27 August 2023, 11.59pm
Results will be announced on our website after the competition and all participants will be notified via email.
Festival masterclasses will be held from on 6th to 8th September 2023. Details of dates and times for Masterclasses will be made known to participants.
All selected winners will be notified and invited to perform at the Gala Winners’ Concert. The date and venue will be confirmed.
