JOYEUX MUSIC INTERNATIONAL Festival & Competition for Young Pianists 2022
2022 卓“乐”音乐国际艺术节与青少年钢琴公开赛
This festival featured both LIVE and ONLINE formats for the first time before our team of professors and educators. Masterclasses helped participants gain greater exposure to teaching styles and provided inputs to develop their technical skills and musical interpretation.

Explanation of our unique Marking and Scoring system for LIVE and ONLINE competitors.
LIVE competitors have to perform under challenging conditions, a brand new piano with yet to be seasoned key action in this year's competition and unlike online competitors, have no chance to restart or have retakes should they be dissatified with their performances.
The conditions for awards are thus as follow, subject to the expected standards of the competition.
ONLINE contestants: Platinum 95 points, Gold 90 points, Silver 85 point, Bronze 80 points.
LIVE contestants: Platinum 90 points, Gold 85 points, Silver 80 points, Bronze 75 points.
Raw scores, however, are subjected to moderation across each category by the panel and the decisions are final. Where international standards are not met in a particular category, the overall scores of the entire category will be adjusted and vice versa. Both formats have now been aligned, based on the degree of difficulty for each category for the LIVE competitors and combined into the PDF published below.
