4th Joyeux Music International Competition for Pianists
This is an annual event opened to participants of all nationalities and gender from the ages of 4 to 35. The Competition has the following categories: - Free programme categories - Examination Syllabus categories - Piano Duos (Duets and 2 Pianos) - Piano Chamber (any ensemble consisting of at least 2 to 13 instruments of which the piano must be included) Closing date: 27 August 2024, 11.59pm Competition dates: 3-6 Sept 2024 Gala Winners' Concert: 8 Sept 2024 (venue to be confirmed soon) |
1st Mozart International Music FestivalA most exciting festival and competition this year to bring forth the culmination of classical elegance, poise and dramatic styles.
Details on repertoire, competition rules and regulations are now published. NO AGE LIMIT. We encourage performances and participation of the highest levels. Categories are: PIANO - Solos, duets, 2 pianos and Concertos VIOLIN - Solo with piano and Concertos WIND INSTRUMENTS - Solo with piano and Concertos VOICE - Mozart operatic arias ENSEMBLE - String Quartets and any ensemble up to 13 instruments. Event Synopsis
Joyeux Music International once again presents an evening of well-loved concertos - Beethoven, Rachmaninoff, Bruch and Poulenc. Conducted by Josephine Koh, the unique orchestra Joyeux Sinfonietta is led by the Libitum Quartet with Dr Ke Jiezhi on the piano. The evening’s concerto artists include Dr Pipetius Quah, Christine Octaviani, Josephine Koh, Albert Shagimardanov, Vivienne Eio and Muhammad Muhammad Afiq Bin Idris. Between these exquisite performances, be intrigued by youths and prize winners of piano competitions who endeavour to mesmerise the audience with their solo piano works.
