新加坡第一届萧邦钢琴比赛

THE OFFICIAL PIANO FOR THE INTERNATIONAL CHOPIN PIANO COMPETITION 2023

This is an independent competition to be held in Singapore of which competitors are required to play Chopin's works.  It is not affiliated to Chopin competitions around the world. The aim and mission of this competition are to develop stylistic awareness and sensitivity in pianists towards the performance of Chopin's compositions.   We seek talents, hope to develop their passion in Chopin's music which in turn will help them to prepare them for a future and career in this artistic arena.

LIVE ROUND & SUBMISSION for ONLINE FINALS.
The requirements of this competition are specific and thus difficult.  With this benchmark we received just slightly over 20 entries from the Asia region.  ONLINE entries have gone through the preliminary elimination with only 3 candidates showed substantial potential to proceed to the finals.

Playing Chopin's music is challenging, technically and musically.  It is commendable that young musicians have come forward to present their performances under specific requirements.  As high standards of our competition have to be maintained, we congratulate the following finalists for their fine showing.  Cash prizes for scores of above 91 points will be brought forward to the next competition. Winners are awarded trophies, medals and awards.
