(Singapore Edition)

Chopin's music teaches us to sing at the piano… to breathe through a phrase… to shape sound into stories of longing, courage, tenderness and fire. It is this timeless magic that inspired the Joyeux International Chopin Piano Competition — a celebration of artistry, individuality, and the poetic soul of piano playing. This competition is not merely about flawless technique or virtuosic speed.
It is about storytelling at the keyboard.
“Let Chopin speak through your hands.
Let your heart find its voice on stage.”
This is an independent competition to be held in Singapore of which competitors are required to play Chopin's works. It is not affiliated to Chopin competitions around the world. The aim and mission of this competition are to develop stylistic awareness and sensitivity in pianists towards the performance of Chopin's compositions. We seek talents, hope to develop their passion in Chopin's music which in turn will help them to prepare them for a future and career in this artistic arena. This is planned as a LIVE and ONLINE event.
